This place used to be amazing when starting a few years back. Totally lost its mojo and the best proof is them serving boiling hot cups, pretty much destroying espresso drinks (Starbucks style). Avoid it in favor of proper coffee elsewhere

On a trip out West my wife and I decided to go for a morning walk and stumbled across this gem. What began as a search for some basic caffeine ended up yielding us some truly fantastic drinks. From the atmosphere, to the drink quality, to the location, I would highly recommend this spot to anyone especially on the hunt for a good latte.

They gave me the wrong order and told me they confirmed the wrong order twice, which is just not true and quite rude. They also gave me a watered down PB& Blueberry smoothie with barely any blueberry which wasn’t purple / berry color per usual and a waste of $13. They said it’s the same formula which I can tell from the taste it’s not. I was shocked the person who works there said it’s the same when clearly it looks nothing like the drink. I have ordered this drink many times here and Manhattan beach - it was loaded with ice and barely any blueberries. Will not be going to this location anymore.

I got to work early to beat Santa Monica traffic and wanted a quiet spot to relax with a coffee before starting my day. Most nearby places were still closed, so I checked Maps and found Bluestone. I tried their cappuccino, and I’m glad I did. A great start to the day 🙂

Place shows generousity and kindness. I managed to get free water and a free small chocolate waffle bar from the café. Definitely give this place a chance they also have outlets but no built in table charging. Definitely will arrive here if it's nearby at the Santa Monica area.
